May 2020

May came with more time at home, but we were able to do a couple fun things that shook things up and kept us all sane.

Kaelyn just found a nice cozy spot in the basement. Now try and tell me she isn't a Utah fan through and through!

Alek trying to see whats going on in the outside world.

Making messes is this little mans forte.

The school did a car parade and they drove right past our house. Alek meeting our neighbor's little dog.

Not sure how long its been since Wayne hasn't showered to get his hair to stand straight up.

We caught Kaelyn making herself right at home in Jaymi's bedroom one day.

We took the kids out for our first Family Bike ride.

Little pajama pals drinking their bottles together.

After taking this picture of Kaelyn and Alek I was reminded of when this was the norm for Bryn and Kaelyn way back when.

Little dare devil.

We had our little buddy Ames over for a bit and when his parent's came to get him, he ran and hid under the couch.

Little man doing his thing, keeping us all smiling.

Jaymi did Bryn's hair.

It took over a month to talk Wayne into it, but we finally convinced him that we wanted to use our cancelled Disney Cruise money to get a hot tub.

First soak in our new toy.

My best little walking buddy.

I figured I better sew us each a mask incase we ever decided to head out into society. I used some fabric from Grandma Ruth and whipped these out one morning.

Bryn's teacher Ms Evans sent her a little paper doll of her that she took with us on a couple of adventures.

Kaelyn spotted one of her favorite toys in Alek pack and play and she got right in and played away.

Then she spent the next little while jumping off my bed.

We threw a birthday party for one of Bryns American Girl Dolls. I think it was for McKennna.

Kaelyn heading downstairs to play with her best buddy Welles.

Bryn's gym finally got the okay to open back up and she was so excited to not have to do home conditioning anymore!

Wayne took the girls and neighbor boys out for a kayak ride on the lake.

We spotted lots of Mama ducks with their little babies.

Alek hanging out on the shore with Mom and little girl friend Lucy from next door.

Still squeezing Kaelyn into the double jogger.

Kaelyn helping Bryn empty the dishwasher. She is a great helper when she wants to be.

Another walk with my little man.

Sitting out to watch the teachers from Jaymi's school car parade.

We got to wave to my cute friend Nicolle.

Sister snuggles.

Quarantine has got us to finally get using our ice cream maker more regularly.

My friend Jen finished their Sand Courts so we threw a baby shower for two of the Team Baby Mamas and played a little under the lights. It was pretty windy and a little shaky but just getting to socialize, laugh and get fresh air was so needed.

Kaelyn loves getting out on car rides and then likes to hop in the front seat when we get home and honk the horn as long as we will let her.

We made it out to Neola for Memorial Day weekend. It was great to finally get to see Grandma and Grandpa. The girls loved helping take care of a new baby calf that lost it's mama.

Bryn got to pick out a steer to sell and put towards a college fund. She loved finding the right one and naming it. She changed the name so many times, who knows which one actually stuck.

Playing with the same toys I played with as a kid.

Hair styles from cousins.

I love how much the kids love playing with their cousins.

My little workout buddy.

Loving our backyard more than ever these days.

Little man found his way into sisters room due to an opened door.

Bryn planned a family game night over on the grass across the street. It really is the simple things that kept us happy and enjoying this time with so much such down.

Since the big Walk with Angels was cancelled, a few of us in the neighborhood through a last minute walk down our streets. We sent a text out to neighbors and were so touched to have so many out on their front porch cheering us on.
