December 2016

December was full of recitals, family events and our usual Christmas traditions.
Our cute friends the Dumas family were so excited to finally able to meet Jaymi's friend Mia.  They all begged to get a picture with her and Naomi had to go put on her matching coat.  We love this family so much!

Kaelyn has been more and more interested in eating soft foods and especially in watching everyone else eat.  She helped Jaymi eat her soup one night and was so proud to be on the other side of the spoon.  Jaymi was happy to let her help!

Bryn loves checking out Kaelyn's school and playing on the stage when we drop her off on Tuesday's & Thursdays.

Bryn rocked her Gymnastics performance.  She has had the best teachers and cutest little friends in her class.  We love that she has these opportunities to reach goals and learn new skills.

These girls are the best cheerleaders a little sister could ask for!  They cheered so loud for Bryn and Naomi!!

The girls enjoyed helping put up Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas decorations.

Bryn danced so beautifully at her Christmas Ballet Show.

The girls call this their "best sister" pose.

We had to get a close up of Bryn's beautiful curls.

Kaelyn is loving her ABA therapy.  She loves the one on one attention and has the best therapists.

Wayne and his dad and siblings went out for a ski day and ran into Santa Clause up on the slopes.

Its been so nice having a back yard for the girls to take advantage of the warm days and to get out and play and get fresh air.

Photo booth props and cousins make for all sorts of fun!

Working on bar skills.  The girls are so lucky that grandma and grandpa let them take over their house with all their gymnastics equipment.  Bryn still can't believe that we didn't bring her beam with us here.

Bryn's preschool put on the cutest Christmas program.  I love how she gets so into the actions and sings her little heart out.

Jaymi had a great singing performance at school.  She was so proud of herself and so were we!  She has grown and learned so much this year at Athlos and although it hasn't be easy, it has definitely been worth it.

Wayne and I finally got around to taking the girls out to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square.  They loved it!

We got crafty for Christmas Eve and made these cute Reindeer cupcakes I saw on Pinterest.

Our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at Texas Roadhouse Selfie.  Kaelyn chose to stay home with Grandma and play this year.

Christmas Eve with the Bonner's

Christmas morning was all sorts of fun at Grandma and Grandpa's this year.

The girls looked so beautiful in their new Christmas dresses.

With Christmas on Sunday this year we all got to get dolled up for church.

Since Wayne and I had the week off between Christmas and New Years we made a quick trip out to the Basin to see the Rasmussen's and Grandma Ruth.  Got to love the Neola sunsets.

Kaelyn was a little suspicious that she was twice as big as Santa and Mrs. Clause.

We had a fun group of ladies at this years Mom's Down Syndrome Group Christmas Party.  So many new faces this year.

The cute Primary President I served with the last few years was released and they gave our door a heart attack.

Bryn's beautiful art work

Bryn has the cutest group of neighborhood friends.  I love that they get together often and that cute Jamie Tucker has them all over to play!

Wayne is pretty much the coolest uncle.  He let Lexi paint Utah Ute toe nails on him!

Bryn got down right tuckered out one night and fell asleep like this on the floor.  Of course Jaymi and Kaelyn were still going strong.

Our coed team won the championship!  Its been so nice to play and not have to worry about getting a babysitter every week.  There are so many perks about living with Grandma and Grandpa.

Bryn having fun at her classmate's birthday party.

Jaymi brought home this cute note from school.  Things like this mean so much to me to know that she is loved at school.

Mia and Jaymi doing their Christmas gift exchange and pajama party.

Party time with the Nelson's!  I love that Bryn and Avery are besties just like their mama's.

Bryn looking a little too old for my liking in this get-up.

We had lots of fun soaking up the down time with Daddy home from work for the Holiday's.

Catching one of Carson's basketball games.

Family bowling time.

Took the girls ice skating for the first time!  They were brave and both took a number of falls.  Wayne and I even hit the ice a few times ourselves.

For New Years Eve we went for a quick swim with Grandma and Grandpa at their hotel.
