November 2015

Not sure why I haven't been taking very many pictures this month, I guess we have just been doing the regular day to day stuff.  Work has been pretty busy for me this month so I haven't had a lot of free time during the week to play.  I'm still playing volleyball at few times a week though so that has been fun.  I'm playing in my Monday nights women's league and also with a group of women on Monday mornings at our church building.  Wayne and I are also playing in a coed league on Thursday nights.  Its fun that we both love volleyball and get to enjoy it together.

We have been having a pretty mid November and have enjoyed the extra sunshine to go on walks and get some extra vitamin D.  Jaymi has been doing awesome with her neck recovery and never complains about wearing her brace.

The girls taking selfies at the Utah Volleyball match.

We love that Utah is playing in the Pac 12 and all the great teams that come to town to play.

Bryn's hair is slowly getting longer and she was so excited that I could finally do an Elsa braid.

Bryn is a little socialite these days, she pretty much has a play date with friends every day of the week and loves it so much!

The day after Christmas is Grandma Ruth's annual Christmas Party.  We have been having these parties since I can remember and its so special that my girls get to enjoy them and have a relationship with their Great-Grandma Ruth.  She is such an amazing lady!  The day after the party she got really sick and is in the hospital with pneumonia.  She is determined to fight it so we can have her 90th birthday party in January.

All Bryn wants this year is a Merida doll.  Pretty easy to please :)

Uncle Tim made Papa Paul sit on Santa's lap to get his bucket of peanut brittle.

Grandma Ruth and Aunt Sherrol sewed these beautiful little aprons for all the great-grand girls and little back packs for the boys.  What a treasure to have.

Kaelyn is always too exhausted by the time Santa comes to enjoy it.

Jaymi doesn't care what Santa brings her, she just wanted to make sure to tell him to come to her house.

Aunt Koren has the cutest little cotton snowballs she made that the kids loved having a "snow ball" fight with.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving is when we get out all the Christmas decorations. Bryn got put the star on the top of the tree this year.

October 2015

Out cute friend is on the Herriman High Drill team and so Bryn did the little drill team camp and got to perform at the half-time show of the football game.  Her cute little friends Kristine and Lanea both did it too.

After the performance we stayed and watched the game and took selfies of course.

Our friends the Gray family were in town for general conference weekend and were were so lucky to finally meet the girls Ellie and Rachel.  Ellie is Kaelyn's little twin, they were both born under two pounds, heart defects and spent over 100 days in the NICU.  Ellie is a year older than Kaelyn and about twice as tall but they are two peas in a pod.  Its so comforting knowing that we have a family who can relate to us with our special little girl.  Little Rachel fit right in with our girls and they all played so well together.

After conference we walked to to park to enjoy the warm October weather.

Bryn finished up her little soccer league with her cute girl-friends, Elle, Sophie and Harlow.

Kaelyn relaxing while listening to her favorite tunes on daddy's shiny new phone, but has since been banned from using it because she cracked the screen.

Love this quote!

This cutie is growing out of her clothes!  Yay for growing.

Kaelyn chowing down on chili at school.  She has been taking more tastes of foods these days which is excited for us!

Jaymi and our buddy Blake hanging out after school.

Jaymi showing us how tough she is after she just completed the whole P90X3 workout with mommy.

We went out to dinner with the Jackmans for our annual Halloween Flashlights.

Jaymi had to get surgery on her neck due to instability in her cervical spine.  They had to take part of her rib to connect to her first to vertebrae so that it will fuse to the bone so that she will no longer be at such a high risk for spinal cord injuries.  She was so brave and tough and did amazingly through it all.

A few hours after the surgery she was even able to give a little smile to the camera even though she felt so crummy.

She was loving the all she could eat mac and cheese at the hosipal.

Bryn was so concerned about her big sister and insisted on visiting her at the hospital and helping to nurse her back to health.

Jaymi was so sweet with her "baby" and made sure she got to fed, medicine and everything else she was getting while in the hospital.

I was sad that we had to schedule Jaymi's surgery the week we had planned on attending Breakfast with Witches and she wouldn't be able to go with us.  Of course she surprised us all and said she felt well enough to go with us and she did, just 4 days post major surgery.

She was beyond thrilled to see her best buddy and soul mate Mia.

And then the next evening she begged to go to the Utah Volleyball game with me, how could I tell her no?

She even made it onto the jumbo tron with her sweet dance moves and cheering.

While Jaymi was recovering at home Bryn got to spend the weekend with her cute cousin Maddie.

Free dinner at Chickfila for bringing in books to donate.

Jaymi was so excited to return to school the week after her surgery and her friends all came running to give her hugs and welcome her back, it was so sweet.

Jaymi's school pictures turned out adorable this year.

Kaelyn riding in the pumpkin wagon at school.  I love when her cute teacher sends us pictures and videos from school!

The pumkins were grown at the state prison and donated to the kids at the school and Kaelyn's picture was in an article in the news paper.

Bryn's little preschool class had a field trip at a local pumkin patch.

We spent the afternoon and evening with our friends the Andersons in Park City for bowling, pizza, movie and the Utah football game.

There is the cutest house in our neighborhood decorated at the "Dead and Breakfast Inn" we had to go check out.

Bryn and I got to go to a little cookie decorating party at my friend Brynley's house.

Jaymi at her schools Halloween Costume parade.

Kaelyn at her schools Halloween Parade.  She made for a cute little Snow White.

Our buddy Gabe in his cute Monster Costume.

Bryn dressed up as a mummy, or as she says "Memmy" at the Bonner cousins little Halloween party.

The girls were quite the troopers and trick or treated for a couple hours and walked about 2 miles.

I told the girls to pick a few treats before bed and Jaymi knew exactly what she wanted, this cute little packet of gold fish crackers, ha ha, the snack she has every day!

Bryn and Jaymi hanging out with Daddy while he works on a painting project in the basement.
