February 2018

February is the kick off to the competition season for both gymnastics an cheer.  Bryn was getting nervous but also excited.  She worked hard to memorized all her routines and perfect her skills.  She continues to amaze us.

This is her cute team after their first meet, the Crystal Cup.

Bryn is so lucky to be on the same team with her cousin Melia.

Jaymi continues to love her cheer team and just lights up when she runs out on stage.  Our favorite part is when she searches the crowd waving until she spots us.

Jaymi somehow tied Bryns shoe and begged for a picture to document it.

We had a fun little playgroup going at our house and were excited that it was warm enough to play outside.

There was a beautiful sunset out of our picture windows and it made me feel better about not having a headboard yet.

We had a few friends over to decorate valentines cookies with us.

One of our dear friends in the DS community little girl was diagnosed with Leukemia so a group of us got together to give her some love.  So grateful for these women and many more to trek this journey with us.

Trying out a new hairstyle.

Bryn's little friend had a new puppy and every time she came to gym they had to run up right after to give it snuggles and loves.

Valentines morning we had heart pancakes and hairstyles.

I got to help with the V-Day party in Bryn's class.  I was in charge of the musical hearts game.

After school Jaymi got to be part of a salon day for little girls with special needs.  Of course she loved doing it with her friends and being pampered.

Her with another Russian princess, Anya.

We continued on the tradition of Valentines being "We love to be a family day" this year.  5 years ago on this day is when Jaymi and I landed in Salt Lake City after a year long battle to bring her home.  We celebrated this year by going out to dinner and ice cream at our favorite shop.

Jaymi's little buddy Ewan was baptized and we were so lucky to attend, despite the crazy snow storm that tried to keep us home, we just couldn't miss it!  Such a special day.

Little miss decided to play Cinderella and sweep up the kitchen.

I love when I check on Bryn at night and find scenes like this.

Kaelyn climbing the huge ladder at our buddy Ewan's birthday party.  She was in pure heaven at this bounce house place.

The girls and I went to the princess/superhero dance party at their school.

Kaelyn checking out what sisters are up to.  These little moments bring me so much joy!  I love seeing all three of them interact

Kaelyn pushed this little baby doll all around.  She is growing up so fast these days!

Watching college gymnastics of course requires the girls to gear up in their leos and even Kaelyn got in on the action!

Kaelyn is working on undressing herself these days, whether we like it or not!

She is so interested in helping me in the kitchen and cutting chicken was her favorite activity of the day.

Jaymi and Bryn have started helping us put her to bed at night and of course they need a snuggle before she climbs into bed.

I saw this online and it reminded me of my life!  Love it and wouldn't want it any other way.

We took Jaymi out to dinner for her birthday and her only request was to go somewhere she could order Mac and Cheese.

January 2018

Our cousins gave us tickets to the Midway Ice Castles for Christmas and like always it was a hit with the girls.  We have gone every other year for the last 5 years and they always have so much fun exploring and sliding down the ice.

This is Bryns preschool picture from last year.

I was working on mini-grants one night and Kaelyn sat on my lap and "helped" me for about 30 minutes.  It was so cute, she loves watching what other people are doing, up close and personal.

Oakley being a cool Pinterest mom for the night and helping us make cute little activities for Kaelyn.

Jaymi's class had an assembly from an Olympic Gold Medialist!

Jaymi's cute activity days group had a lesson on setting goals.

Bryn finally got the mermaid tail she has wanted for years for Christmas.  Sadly they wouldn't let her swim in it at the County pool, but at least she got a picture.

Bryn and a group of her cute gymnastics girlfriends.  Bryn, Avery, Melia, Alyvia and Mckenna

Bryan and Avery were the cutest little Chocolate and Vanilla Twins.  I love that my best friend's daughter is one of Bryn's bestest friends!

We even took the train to the meet so I didn't have to drive in the snow.

Bryn posing with her future teammates!

Jaymi and her cheer buddies before the South Town Convention Center Competition

We met up with the Petersons and Newtons for a sled session.  The snow has been pretty minimal so far and we have to maximize what little we get.

Wayne tore his ACL and MCL skiing, of course the day before we got any decent snow.  He's getting lots of cuddles during his down time.

A few days after Wayne had been hobbling around on crutches, Bryn was dying to have a set of her own.  She earned a prize for a new gymnastics skill and decided to get a set for her doll.

My cousin Kristin had us over for a hot tub party so Bryn could use her new mermaid tail.  They even let the girls try out their new hover boards before we left.

The girls and I went to see Lexi perform in her school play, The Music Man.  We had a great time!

It was warm enough for Carter, Ethan and Bryn to hit the park before getting Jaymi from school one day.

Bryn has been sneaking upstairs and stealing my bedtime cuddles from Kaelyn.  I love that they love each other so much!!

Sister play time while we visit after Sunday Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Bonners

Grandma Amy took Jaymi to her cheer Parent show for us one night.
