December 2019

We started the month off with getting up the Christmas tree and of course Bryn is still putting the star on top.

The minute the lights went on Kaelyn came wondering out of her playroom and assumed her favorite position listening to tunes under the tree.

Mr Alek got in on the action under the tree to check it all out.

A fitting spot for our favorite Christmas gift this year.

We went to see our cute friend Sarah Lutkin perform in the Nutcracker Ballet.

Elfie is back and as mischievous as ever.

Kaelyn getting Santa to clap for her at school.

Gingerbread houses at Jaymi's school. She has been loving being back in school with her bestie Mia.

Our silly gym carpool. Alyvia loves sitting in Kaelyns huge chair and Bryn loves it that she does she she doesn't have to.

Our bestie Scarlett got baptized.

Jaymi and Santa at the ward Christmas party.

We had dinner at the Nelsons and the kids spent most of the time making elastic bracelets. Kaelyn really wanted to get in on the action.

Bryn with her 2nd grade class after a holiday activity.

We went out to Quin's baptism and everyone was fighting over getting to hold Alek. These guys have been praying along with us for him to come to our family for years and years.

My little gym buddy smiling while I run.

I was able to host the Down syndrome Mama's Christmas party and we had a packed house. It was so fun being surrounded by all these amazing mamas.

Bryn, Jaymi and I joined our Bonner cousins on their Disneyland Trip the week before Christmas. We had a great time and always love doing Disney with our cousins. We loved all the amazing Christmas decorations all around the parks.

In the middle of the week we went to Universal Studios. We haven't been there before and had a good time checking it out.

Some beautiful shots up the mountain while Wayne was skiing.

While we were gone Wayne got lots of quality time with these too. Kaelyn wanted in on the daddy snuggles and Alek looks a little concerned about getting pushed over.

Of course little miss couldn't let dad off easy and was sure to make her usual mischief.

The girls didn't want to miss out on Elfie's visits so dad sent us pictures everyday of what he was up to.

One of our favorite parts of the trip was driving down to San Diego to spend the weekend with our friends the Gray Family.  They just had twin baby girls right before we had Alek and we were in baby heaven.

The girls spent over an hour coming up with very elaborate handshakes.

After church Sunday Selfie

We made it home in time for the Annual Christmas Eve get-together at Grandma and Grandpa Bonners. We sure missed them this year while they are serving in Philly, but will be excited to have them here next year.

Alek sleeping perfectly while he played the part of Baby Jesus.

As usual the kids, including Alek gave Wayne and I the best gift by letting us sleep in until after 8:30 on Christmas morning.

Heres the little guy with his Christmas haul of clothes.  This is probably the only year we can get away with that!

Nothing better than a Christmas afternoon nap holding a sleeping baby and my new beautiful blanket that Wayne's sister Caryn made me.

Dad and Bryn making lip glosses with one of her new kits.

Kaelyn showing Alek how to use the new music toy she got from the Elves on Christmas Eve.

We had to get the annual Christmas Sunday picture.

Silly girl uses the rug in her playroom as a blanket when she drinks her bottles.

Kaelyn pulled the hair off of Bryn's doll from Grandma Ruth and then spent the next 30 minutes pulling the glue off.

Bryn's Level 5 pictures turned out great!

The girls were excited to meet our cute neighbor Lucy.

Alek looks forward to lots of fun playdates with this cute girl.

Tummy time for everyone.

Cute cousins on the way to see the lights at Temple Square.

Its been a while since we got to spend New Years Eve with our Nelson family. We had a great time eating crab and playing games.

2019 was a great year and we look forward to what 2020 will hold for our family!
