July 2016

We stayed out here in the valley for the fourth this year because we were moving out of our house that week.  We were excited to get to do the ward bike parade and breakfast that morning.

Jaymi is just getting used to her new balance bike so we ended up ditching it when we passed our house and she walked the rest of the way to the park.

This shirt was perfect for little miss Kaelyn.  We call her our little house kitten because she is always doing things that a cat would do.

We stopped by our friends place on the way home for a quick visit.

We spend the evening at a yummy BBQ at our friends the Robisons.  Their daughter Briella is always so cute and curious with Kaelyn.  I love that they just climbed in here with her and copied what she is doing.  We are excited for Bryn and Briella to go to preschool together this fall.

Then when it started to get dark we went over to Uncle Wills place for an up close firework show.  We had a close call with an errant firework that made me scream and question this tradition together.

I love getting the girls a new Independence day outfit every year so as they get passed down they can wear them the whole week.  This is the shirt Jaymi had two years ago.  I love that Bryn wanted to dress just like the little girl on it.

We had Mia over for a playdate and the girls were thrilled they were both wearing yellow shirts.

The girls were able to do a couple rounds of swimming lessons this summer.  It was easier to get them their since we are living at Grandmas and its closer to them.  Jaymi does the adaptive swim program and Bryn does the regular lessons.  They both did awesome and made a lot of progress this year.  They can both swim across the pool all by themselves.

Had to document this awesome parking job at one of the girls doctors appointments for dad.

It was moving time and Kaelyn was on her game when it came to finding lots of mischief while we were preoccupied.

I took these final pictures of our first home the night we moved out.  It was a little sad as we left the home where we brought our girls home and have enjoyed as a family for the past 7 years.  While we are very excited for the future and our new home, its always hard to say goodbye to the life we have.

We decided to just keep going to our ward until our house is finished, which made it easier moving knowing we will continue to see our friends weekly for the next 7-8 months.  Bryn and her cute friend Kristine were little twins one Sunday.

Miss Kaelyn being a cutie on one of our car drives.

Bryn enjoying a sucker after a successful day at gymnastics.  After she quit doing tumbling she kept telling me she missed it and I asked what she missed most and she said the suckers they got at the end.  So I made a deal that she could have a sucker or treat for each stamp she earned and gymnastics and now she has the best of both world.

Our work summer party was up at Snowbird this year.  The girls loved the bungee trampoline.  Wayne and I tried it and it was a little painful for us.

Kaelyn was a fan of the bounce houses.

We made our annual trip up to the beautiful cabin with the Anderson's.  We love this tradition and have been doing it for the last 5 years.

Our annual picture of the kids on the bridge.  It will be fun to see how much they change over the years.

Kaelyn had other things to do and skipped out of the photo shoot.

These two and their silly selfies.

Sarah watched my girls and found the best activity for the kids.  Kaelyn was digging it!  Water painting for the win!

Then she decided to take a dip to cool off.

Then a little gymnastics on the court yard to finish it off.

Right after we moved in Grandma and Grandpa put in this awesome play set for the grandkids.  We are sure putting it to good use.

Kaelyn has been giving us a run for our money when it comes to bed time.  She gets out of bed multiple times each night and eventually falls asleep on the floor, most of the time right behind the door.  This particular night she only made it half way out of the bed, so thats progress.

Tuckered out after a busy day.

Jaymi loving on her horse at therapy.

Our Stake had a float in the Days of '47 Children's parade.  We love to go check out the floats when they are on display at the expo center.

Go UTES!

This reminded me of all the car trips we took as kids.  I probably asked my dad that 100 times before we made it to our destination.  That and "Where are we?"

This was the girls favorite float.

A new way K has discovered to view the iPad.

My cousin Kristen, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner talked in her little girls class about her job and made this little doll.  I wish we had one in our house, we should pitch it to American Girl Dolls and call it the Kaelyn Ruth doll.

Parade day for me and the girls.  We rode the train downtown so we had time to do cute hair on the way.

We crossed off one of our summer bucket list items by going to the drive in with our Bonner cousins.  We saw the secret life of pets.

Another fun thing we did was spend an afternoon at the zoo with grandma and cousins.  It was a hot day but the kids loved cooling off in the splash pad part.

The girls have loved staying with Grandma and Grandpas house.  How could they not with a Grandma like this?

Love watching these three interact and play together.

Wayne took the scouts over to our lot to do an environmental science merit badge.  Its crazy that we will live right there on that awesome piece of land soon.  Its right across from the beautiful lake, park and walking trails.
