June 2015

We started out the month of June we a fun little getaway to Grandma LaJean's and Papa Pauls for the weekend.  The girls love going out and having so much free space to play in and help feed the horses, cows, cat, dog and ducks.

Kaelyn loves wandering around the house and pulling anything and everything out of the cupboards.  She came out of the play room with this little indian scarf wrapped around her and had us all cracking up.

We stopped and had a fun visit with Grandma Ruth, Aunt Sherrol and Cousin Casi. Bryn had to get a picture by my pictures when I was her age.  Yep she is definitely my daughter.

This picture of the girls all crashed less than 20 minutes outside of town shows it was a successful trip!

Kaelyn had her 6 year well check appointment with Dr. Mitzi and sure went to town on the paper roll.  She has had an awesome year staying 'mostly' healthy, growing, walking and signing.  She is a crazy good climber and keeps us on high alert wherever we go.  Good thing she is so dang cute, we can't help but laugh at her funny mischievous ways.

Jaymi had her 8 year check-up an did great!  She is one healthy little girl.

Kaelyn turned 6 and we celebrated by taking her to her favorite little splash pool in our neighborhood.  She was in heaven.

Then that evening her sisters did a beautiful ballet performance for her.

This mama couldn't be more proud of her little tiny dancers.  They danced to the cutest little song that I swear could have been handpicked for Jaymi and her story and zest for life.

You colored my world with smiles and laughter
And you filled my heart with hope and love
And because of that love I got what I’m after
Of you, of life we’re dreaming of

And some days may disappoint us
But there’s light at the end of each night

Chorus
It’s a beautiful world
When you’re watching through love’s eyes
All of the valleys don’t seem so low
If you keep your dreams where your heart is
We follow you wherever you go

We’re gonna leave and they will follow
Let ’em see what hope and love can bring
’cause we’re gonna stand enters our sorrows
And with voices clear and strong we’ll see

Now my eyes are clearly focused
On the good and now I can see

Bridge
I was waiting patiently
For the world to change around me
Now I see it’s you and me
I can’t change it

If you keep your dreams where your heart is
We follow you wherever you go

Wherever you go
Wherever you go

Then we headed back to the park by our house and had a little party and treats with a few of our friends and cousins and grandparents.  It was a great day for our little family!

Jaymi had her year end school program and did so well saying her part, singing the cute songs and doing the dances.

She was so excited and proud of herself after she said her part, she ran over and gave me a big hug.

On the 23rd this hunk and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary.  Its crazy to think that it has already been 10 years and all the fun adventurous we have been on with our little family.  Here's to the next 10!

Bryn had her gymnastics performance.  She was so proud to get to hold the sign as her little team walked out.  I can't get enough of watching her do gymnastics and tumbling.  She is so talented and so focused when she is at class.

Her little team is made up of the cutest little group of girls.

Jaymi was a great sister and cheerleader during the meet.

Bryn's first gymnastic coach Miss Lexi who she just loves and loves.

Trying to wrangle Kaelyn in for a picture is no easy task.

Our little cousin Kinslie is in the same gymnastics program and we got to watch her do her performance too.

Wayne wins the Daddy of the Year away again for the 6th year in a row.  This year he gets it for letting me go to Arizona for a week to attend the National Down Syndrome Convention and enjoy a few days of straight up relaxing by the pool with some of my closest friends.  If that wasn't enough I left on Father's Day and was gone on the day of our anniversary!  I'm so grateful for what a wonderful husband and father he is.

The girls had lots of fun having family room slumber parties and movie nights.

I missed Jaymi's end of year party and Wayne took work off to take the girls.  It means so much to her when we come to her school and she definitely is not happy if we miss an event.  Wayne said she made him feel like a million bucks as he walked him around introducing him to everyone as "her daddy".

The girls go to go to their cute cousin Gabri's birthday party while I was gone too.

My friend Sarah helped watch the girls while I was gone and took them to their horse therapy.  I love Kaelyn and her little buddy Blakes cute little relationship.

Some pictures of the Convention - Plenty of time lounging by the pool.  Maybe a little too much, my skin started to scream at me!

Love these ladies - Kecia, Me, Heather F, Jodi and Becky

I finally got to meet Beau and his mama Alicia.  We have been online friends since our kids were babies and in the NICU fighting for their little lives.

Me, Becky, Jodi, Kecia, Heather S & Heather F

Kaelyn's cute teacher sent me this picture of her at Water Day.  This little girl cracks us up!

Jaymi had another great year of Soccer with her bestie Mia.  Love the end of season pizza party and awards program.

Their coach this year is a friend from our neighborhood and she made these cute pictures for them.  Her family did so well with our kids!

Proud little sisters.

I got a fun night out with some of my girl friends and tried my hand at painting.  It was a lot of fun!

Bryn just doing her thing of being a silly goose.

Fun at the splash pad with these cute girls.

Swimming with our friends the Jackmans & Kerns families.

Jaymi's cute friend from school Hannah had the most amazing little birthday party!  Talk about a little girls dream day, Jaymi had so much fun.

Bryn and I took Natalie and Jackson to Cowabunga Bay and out to Ice Cream one morning.

Then when we got home we took Kaelyn, Mia and Jaymi to the splash pool

Kaelyn was done and was trying to escape.  Sorry K, you are small but not that small!
