We were finally able to get some long overdue family pictures for our wall so that Mr. Alek could make an appearance. Lucky for us my cute friend Vanessa is a great photographer and with her and the help of our Peterson friends, we got some good ones over by the lake.

One night before bed the girls were playing around and when Bryn rolled over the top of Jaymi's legs it dislocated Jaymis knee cap. It was pretty scary because we could tell she was in a lot of pain. Wayne created a brace out of a 2x4 piece of wood and we rushed her to the E.R. Somewhere between getting there and into the room it popped back into place. She ended up needing to wear a knee brace for a couple of months after. She was a great sport about even though it made the first part of her summer quite a bummer.

For Kaelyn's 11th birthday we went out for the morning to one of our favorite parks.
We were dying for a change of scenery so our annual family trip with the Nelson's was a much needed break. We found a cute little VRBO in Wayne County and had a great time exploring and hanging out. The boys got up early one morning for some repelling and brought back some great pictures.
The kids did a fun little hike with Wayne, Nate & Jamie while I stayed back with Kaelyn, Jaymi and Alek for a nice nap.
