February 2019

Wayne's knee is mostly healed up from his ski injury last year, so he was pumped to hit the slopes with his brother Michael.

Kaelyn wanting to get outside and test Wayne's shoes out.

Bryn ready to rock and roll at the first gymnastics competition of the season.

She had a great meet and has made so much progress since last year, especially in her confidence.

The girls and I couldn't say no to a trip to California and Disneyland with our buddies the Petersons.

Our other cute neighbor family, the Bennetts, were also there at the same time so we got to do a few things with them too.

Our condo was right on the pier so we just had to walk a few steps to check out the ocean.

For Valentines day the play school kids got to help me make sugar cookies and of course eat them.

Bryn showing off the cute Valentine box she made all by herself!

Valentine hair tradition.  Jaymi's was similar but the bottom half was down and curly.

Valentines day is special in our family because it is the day Jaymi and I finally got to Utah after our 6 week fight in Russia to bring her home.  This year we made it even more special by doing a scavenger hunt with the girls so telling them that I had a baby in my tummy.

The saddest thing happened, Kaelyns little best friend Richie from school was really sick up at Primary Childrens and he end up passing away.  We were so heart broken for his family and for Kaelyn. She was really off for weeks after where she would just cry for no reason at home and school. We know she felt the loss of her bestie and it was so sad.

Family game night.

Bryn and I had a mommy daughter date and tried to get lottery tickets to Wicked. Sadly we didn't get them and Bryn was crushed. It didn't take long to cheer her up after walking across the street to City Creek and letting her pick out some new accessories.  Like the pretend glasses she is wearing. Then we went to the food court and had dinner and pretended that we were mom's out for a moms night out.

She also picked out this cute unicorn sleep mask.  A girl needs her beauty sleep.

We did a little gender reveal with the girls to let them know that we were having a baby boy! He is going to have three proud big sisters.

My Monday night women's volleyball team made it to the championship game and I think we took second, but can't really remember. I'm so thankful for this fun group of ladies and the friendship and fun we have playing a sport I love.
