The first weekend of December we went out to Roosevelt for cousin Jackies baptism. The girls were so cute playing the piano together.
The girls got to perform this year at the Festival of Trees. It was great because we like to go to the festival each year and see the beautiful trees, so it was nice to make sure it happened this year. The girls did great and looked so cute! I love that they can take class together.
This cute little tree was decorated as a ballerina tree and it matched them perfectly.

After Jaymi's 6 week follow-up the surgeon gave her the okay to only use the neck brace when she was in the car or at risk of falling. She was pretty nervous at first without it but got used to it pretty quick. She has been so good with wearing it and never once asked to take it off or complained about having to wear it.
Kaelyn loves her iPad so much these days. Its the first thing she asks for when she wakes up and gets home from school.

We got home really late but needed to make a batch of cookies and this girl wanted to stay up and help me.
Miss Sue had a cute little play group with kids from her past years and she spent the whole time reading books to my girls. It was so sweet of her to do that.

My sweet friend Kecia is adoption a baby boy with Down syndrome so we did a little child care Pajama/Pancake event to raise money. The girls had a blast and my friend Jodi did such a good job coming up with fun activities and games for the kids to play. It was a lot of fun.
Christmas Sunday - We didn't quite get picture of the girls at the same time, but at least we tried.
This is Kaelyn's Fourth year fitting into this same Christmas outfit.

Christmas Eve
Out to our traditional Christmas Eve steak dinner.
Bryn got her chance to be Mary this year and even got to hold her 8 day old cousin, Sophie for part of the time. Jaymi was a beautiful angel and we will just say Kaelyn was a sheep roaming around making mischief.

The day after Christmas we headed over to the park for a sledding day. Kaelyn and I only lasted about 20 minutes in the freezing temperatures, but Wayne and Will and the other kids lasted a couple hours.

"All done mom"
"No Really, I'm all done"
Grandma Ruth caught a really bad case of pneumonia after Thanksgiving and ended up in the hospital for over a month. She is a strong woman and decided she is going to fight it so we can all celebrate her 90 birthday next month. The girls have been so worried about her so we took them up to visit her before she was able to go home back to Roosevel.
Kaelyn was determined to climb into bed with Grandma and when I tried to grab her Grandma isn't I let her snuggle. It was like she was telling her she knew exactly how she felt being all cooped up in the hospital.
Holly and I took the kids to see the Good Dinosaur while they were out of school. They had a great time and enjoyed the show and the popcorn of course!
And there you have it, time for the New Year to begin! Happy to report that I completed my goal of blogging every month!! Now I need to take the time to print my blog book.
